Powder samples representing six different portions within Y000593 were analyzed for discussing the chemical heterogeneity. As a result, major elements are homogeneously distributed within ±70%, and trace elements are homogeneously distributed within ±11% except for H, B, Cl, Br and rare earth elements. 内容記述 | Three activation analysis methods, that is, prompt gamma ray analysis, instrumental neutron activation analysis and instrumental photon activation analysis, were applied to Antarctic nakhlite, Yamato-000593 together with Nakhla and other shergottites for the non-destructive determination of major and trace elemental contents. Powder samples representing six different portions within Y000593 were analyzed for discussing the chemical heterogeneity. As a result, major elements are homogeneously distributed within ±70%, and trace elements are homogeneously distributed within ±11% except for H, B, Cl, Br and rare earth elements.
