Lysis and lavage of the upper compartment of the temporomandibular joint was performed on all joints under general anesthesia.Results were as follows : 1.Synovitis as well as anterior disc displacement was noted in all joints.Adhesive lesion or chondromalasia was noted in one case 2 joints.
