The density of the melts decreases and the expansivity increases with the increase of carbon content of the melt. The result of the measurements is expressed approximately by the following experimental equation with deviation ±2%. ρ=8.2_8(1-0.022 [%C])-8.1_7×10^<-4>(1-0.077[%C])T where, T is the 1700~2100℃ ; [%C] is the weight percentagc of C, 0 to 5.5%., 紀要類(bulletin), 371120 bytes}, pages = {47--52}, title = {<報文>溶融Fe-C二元系の密度}, volume = {30}, year = {1974} }
