The exchange current density (O^<2->⇆O+2e) and the double layer capacitance obtained were 55±15 mA/cm^2 and 18±5 μF/cm^2,respectively. Diffusivity of oxygen in molten silver was also determined by changing the bulk concentration of oxygen and the experimental time on the assumption that the mass-transfer process is the rate controlling step.
