| 内容記述 | Of numerous fragments of the Jurassic fossil woods collected from 12 localities in Japan and Manchoukuo, the writer has described 9 species belonging to 5 genera, beside an indeterminable wood, as follows : Dadoxylon (Araucarioxylon) japonicum sp. nov. D. (Araucarioxylon) sidugawaense sp. nov. Xenoxylon phyllocladoides GOTHAN X. latiporosum (CRAMER) GOTHAN Phyllocladoxylon heizyoense sp. nov. P. cfr. eboracense (HOLDEN) P. sp. Pinoxylon Yabei sp. nov. Cupressinoxylon sp. (Cfr. C. McGeei KNOWLTON?) These woods are all of coniferous type. Of the species listed above, the two of Xenoxylon and one of Phyllocladoxylon are forms that occur in Europe and are also widely distributed in Asia, while a Phyllocladoxylon, a Pinoxylon, and two Dadoxylon (Araucarioxylon) are new to science.
