内容記述 | For the aim of the first step of the application of the low-voltage impulse discharge to the spectrochemical analysis, effects of atmosphere were studied. The spectrum pattern obtained in nitrogen or air atmosphere was similar to that obtained with critical damp discharge by the multisource under the same atmosphere. The profile of some spectral lines, especially resonance lines, showed the presence of the pressure effect. On the other hand in argon atmosphere the low voltage impulse discharge had little pressure effect, and the spectrum pattern obtained was more spark-like than that obtained in nitrogen or oxygen atmosphere. The effect of chemical reaction on electrodes with gases in atmosphere was hardly recognized in the case of the low-voltage impulse discharge. A satisfactory calibration curve of aluminium in steel was obtained by only one discharge in argon atmosphere. | |||||||||
