| 内容記述 | The effect of surface coatings with electro-deposited Ni-film on the strength of aluminium single crystals was studied at room and liquid nitrogen temperatures. The mechanism of surface strengthening seems to consist of the long- and the short-range interaction stress components. The former is dependent on strain and independent on temperature, while the latter is independent on strain and dependent on temperature. The long-range interaction component could be explained by the Ashby's plastic constraint theory. The short-range interaction component could be explained by the image force mechanism. | |||||||||
